Stigma Kills Campaign

NHS Addictions Provider Alliance

After delivering an industry-leading virtual conference for over 1000 delegates worldwide on the theme of Stigma, Brightsparks developed a national campaign to highlight the damaging effects of stigmatising language and attitudes to those who experience addiction. It asks for all of us as individuals to look beyond the addiction, to see the person behind it and hear their story. It also aims to break down the myths and misconceptions around addiction demonstrating it is both a mental and physical health condition and not a person's choice. 

Brightsparks analysed and compiled the campaign data and evidence base before developing and delivering the sub-brand, website landing page, emotive animation, campaign paper, report design, case study design, and a comprehensive omnichannel marketing strategy.
